Brett has 8 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Black Swan, he served in the investment banking groups of Houlihan Lokey, Skystone Group, and Piper Sandler, focusing on acquisitions and divestitures, restructuring advisory, and private capital raises primarily within the energy industry. Previously to his time in investment banking, Brett worked a landman with BP for 5 years, leading business development activities, new well development programs, and production enhancement initiatives in several basins across the US. Brett earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame and his BBA in Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University.
